I had already bought a brown one and was somewhat satisfied with it. I bought this black one and it’s better than the first one.
Love this!!! The tortoise shell color is so pretty. It doesn’t hurt my ears. I can wear it with my eyeglasses and sunglasses without having to take the headband off and on. Well worth the money! It is not stretchy. It’s a hard plastic. It’s super lightweight and it’s one size fits most. So versatile to be worn with glasses and sunglasses.
Seems to be more comfortable than most. I wish it was a bit wider but like the color and accessories that come with it. I think it will look good with everything.
I am the sunglasses girl. I find sunglasses are the only thing that holds/works without a headache or just plain slipping. Sunglasses are not office friendly so I began looking for a better designed headband. The style that hinges like a sunglass frame do not stay put. The wire bands with grips are painful.
So this band can this morning and it feels so comfortable and just those tiny combs are fine to keep it in place.
I have curly shoulder-length hair and I’m pleased. And I got the blue one, pretty.
Works as intended but its price would be more appropriate as a gift since it is indeed extravagantly packaged & priced just as other reviewers have mentioned. I took a chance on it to corral the hairs at the top of my head that fall in my face each time I bend forward. My 2 3/4" wide side combs do a great job of keeping that hair out of my face all day, but I don't want to obviously part my now thin & always fine hair in the center b/c I can already see more of my scalp at the back of my head than I did years ago.
This lightweight hair band does have little teeth that keep it in place despite my far-from-thick mane for it to sink those teeth into & its shape at the ends fantastically allows it to bypass the temple pieces of my eyeglasses. But this hair band comes with a shape retainer for acetate hair bands whose very nature allows them to stretch out from the heat of one's head. So, when the hair band isn't on my head, it's in that retainer which also works as intended.
Because of its high price, I doubt that I'll purchase another one of these hair bands in a different color. But it was worth it to get the shape retainer which I could find nowhere else & get this quickly thanks to Amazon Prime.
They warn you it will lose its shape and wow they were right, definitely have to reshape each big but otherwise cute and definitely comfortable for those who are sensitive to pressure. It’s more decorative than functional, due to it not being very tight (don’t plan on this holding a style on its own)
I was hesitant to buy these because they are so expensive but they are totally worth it. They feel like they're solid and won't break and they're beautiful. But most importantly, I love the way the ends bend back so they don't get in the way of your glasses and very very comfortable. i'll give you an update after I've worn them for a couple weeks.
While more than twice the price of my usual headbands from Target or Walgreens, this tortoise shell Evita Peroni is worth the price. Not only is it carefully and beautifully packaged, this headband does not put ANY pressure on my temples or behind my ears! After 1/2 the day, I had to see the band in the mirror to remember I'd put it on to try it out. The tortoise shell pattern is lovely and a true neutral! Very happy I took the chance and spent the $22 for this headband! It's sleek, does its job and is truly pain-free to wear!🎉
The Purple u-shaped headband is a beautiful pastel lavender, with crystal-like reflections throughout. The design is perfect for those of us that like to wear headbands, but also sometimes wear sunglasses or prescription lenses. I appreciate the small sections with the shallow teeth, to provide a little grip within your hair, also.

I own several of these headbands, and as a person who wears glasses, I truly appreciate these! This color is so versatile--it's become my instant favorite! Please consider making these in a metals collection: gold, silver, pewter. The lustrous material would be stunning in metals.

I love how it sits behind my glasses ear support. I couldn’t really wear hairbands cos I wear glasses and both would get in the way of each other. Now I can. I love it.
I ordered this hair band, it wears fabulous, doesn't hurt behind the ears. After wearing it all day and some at night you really can't tell you have it on.made very well, great color.
I liked this hair band a lot. That being said, the price is high. I do use normal hair bands but they hurt behind me ears. It’s a toss up if you are willing to pay this much. No pain and it does keep my hair back out of my face.
